help with USB port

I was wondering if any one could help me?
I have a toshiba laptop and I move pictures from my phone to the computer through a dynex port I plug into my USB port ( any of them) and know I have got the at&t internet to plug into my computer but when I do the computer wants me to insert a disc and there isn't one I have tried other memory sticks and they work just fine what IS THE PROBLEM DOES ANYONE KNOW?????PLEASE HELP:

your text is kinda fuzzy, what disc does it ask you for? what cell phone do you have and are you using a SD card or any external memory you can use?

I think the problem is the AT&T is an internet/broadband dongle, which allows you to surf the internet when you are say in the garden or on the train etc, and so will need to be setup which is what the disc is.And the memory stick/dynex port you was on about is used to store documents/data onto,and transfer to or computers like what you`ve said you`ve been doing.
Go back to the shop where you got it and tell them you need the disc.

thank you I will go and ask them but im confused because it works on 2 desk tops and it is made for laptops.
