help with videos

my computer win98 isnt playing .mpg files. i got codecs and stuff what do i do?

Mine wasnt playing them either and I just download windows media player10 and all was good give that a try!

ok so i just tried the cds on a windows xp laptop with combo drive and they worked great. i dont want to leave my windows 98. i have the required codec. is there something i can do
