help with widescreen

i bought myself a 22" widescreen monitor, and is all good except games, i know 1650-1050 i think is a resolution but anything else i try is stretched or dont fit and 1650 is a bit too much for me to be playing crysis on lol, so what other standard 22" widescreen settings/resolutions is there?
 
That resolution is your native.. Your monitor has 1650 pixels horizontal, 1050 vertical. If you try to use other resolutions, widescreen or not, it won't look as natural as the native, as it's just synthesizing that res.

But you can try 1280x800, or 1440x900, it might not look so bad, and it may work better for you in crysis.
