ive bought windows 7 yesterday and installed it on my dell pc 1100 but i dont think its compatible with my pc. windows 7 does work but everything is enlarged on my screen. i want to go back to windows xp but when i put xp installation disk in it wont let me install this. can anyone plz help

You need to install the driver for your video card. Is it the dimension 1100? How much memory do you have installed? It's max memory is 2 gb, I would suggest you go back to XP. Did you do an upgrade install or a fresh install? If you did an upgrade install your best bet would be to backup your data and do a fresh install by booting to the xp install cd. You can't downgrade to xp while inside of windows 7, it won't allow you to do that.
