I have a report due tomorrow that I put on a floppy disk (out of stupidity) and when I try to open my Word file it goes crazy. It tries to open it for about 5 minutes and make wierd noises and then it says it cannot read the file? Am I doomed?

It will recover your file, however it could be slightly damaged. So then try open it with Wordpad or Notepad if opening in Word fails.

i only use it for running dos program to manage hardrives and stuff LOL.
