help!

my router died over the weekend and i returned it to the store, i bought a gigabit one online but it wont be here for a week, my server (2003) has 2 NICs in it and i cannot figure out how to get the internet to go out the other nic

i am this far:
1. plug modem right into NIC named "Internet In" on my computer
-internet is working fine on the server (straight-through to modem)
2. I shared the internet on the "Internet In" nic
3. The other nic, named "Network Out" assigned itself a class b private IP and subnet but no gateway or DNS
4. All computers in the network get an "automatic private ip"
-no internet access on them and no gateway/dns coming up

Any ideas would be appreciated or fixes would be really appreciated as seeing my network has no access
 
i don't know about the internet sharing and stuff.
what you can use is "routing and remote acces" or "ras".
it's located under the administrative tools.
if you set it up correctly you can easily route your internet across your network.
just try and follow the wizard :p
 
thanks, ill try that, the office doesnt open till 12:30pm, so i got about 50 minutes to figure it out, otherwise ill just buy a cheap router from bestbuy

ill go install that as a role on the server and tell you how it goes
