Did crucial not recommend some RAM as well? In any event, you are looking for PC3200 (DDR400). This is DDR1.

Please post the model number and manufacturer of your motherboard. This will make it much easier to select RAM. If we know the model number, we can look at the manufacturer's forum and see what other people are using in that motherboard. We will also be able to look at the QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for that motherboard and see what the manufacturer says you should have for RAM. If you don't know what motherboard you have...download CPUZ and run it. Here is a link for the page.

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

- scroll down to the bottom and select version 1.49, this will start the download
- Click it and run it
- When you open it there will be a motherboard tab
- post all info from there...then we will make some recommendations for ya:)

There is a website call newegg.com and there you can enter the type of pc that you have and they will be able to tell you the exact memory that you can buy for it.

Cromewell figured it out in about 15 seconds and it took me like 10 minutes
Normally I'd have to look up the motherboard and all that too but I recognized the CPU and I know that Athlon 64s use DDR so the motherboard doesn't matter :)
