I have a dell 4600 I'm having problems with internet exploer it will start to open then closes with err. I put firefox on it using my laptop and it works great. Can I delet explore and use firefox or can someone tell me how to fix it thanks for the help
 
good question. im having something similar. i'll be watching also. One thing though........you need explored to get critical and security updates from microsoft. you can't get them with firefox.
 
thanks for your help got up and working again. i went back in and deleted internet explores 7 updates. when i took out the last 3 udates it started working. it all started when i down load internet explore 8. i took it out and reinstalled 7. so i started with exploer 7 updates took them out then reinstalled and it works now. thanks for the help
