hi, im having a problem with my computer and hoping you can help me. the other day when i went into "my computer" it started not responding so i restarted it but not wen it restarts it has a black screen with the white flashing thing in te top left and takes awhile before it goes to the screen where it askes if u want to start it in safe mode or start it normally. if i start it normally it goes to a black screen and gotta wait like 10 mins for it to start then is really slow for like the 1st 10 mins.. any help please?

Sounds like your hard drive may have failed.
Did you try to Repair using the Install Disc?

OP If I were you id just reformat it if possible, see if you get any errors in the windows installation. If you do your HD is most likely bad.
