Help?

Hi i have a HP Pavillion DV 6245US and i got BSOD!!!! DUM DUM DUMMMM. Well i brought it to microcenter cuz i have a warranty. But of cousre it is software not hardware. They want 120 bucks.
I ordered a system restore cd and i wanna try and do it myself. The guy said my partition is deleted idk why, w\e. How can i back up my info and save my comp, Help me please,
PS: I am limited with my current computer abilities

Which partition? Your Restore partition or your Windows partition?
If its your Windows Partition you may need to use recovery software

If Windows is still there (but just does BSODs)
Then try going into Safe Mode, by pressing F8 key before Windows starts loading, then go to Safe Mode

Ok im sorry, how can i tell which partition is deleted?
And what do i do if i can get into safe mode

What happens when you try to go Safe Mode?

In Safe Mode, you can locate your Data and back it up
