In what sense mate? you boot from the cd, wait for the install bit. Click custom install, then I normally click on the disk partitions and delete them and make just one or split it in two. Click format, then on the next screen click which ever partition you want and click install.

Which bit are you failing at?

Remember if you have bought W7 HP upgrade, install XP first - soon as it first loads dont worry about drivers and all that crap just then reboot (with W7 in the drive) and install.

otherwise when you enter the upgrade code it will say NO!
