Hello, I installed a new processor in my computer like 10minutes ago and everything is going fine. But the heatsink for some reason wouldn't fit in my motherboard. Im not sure if i just wasn't putting it in right or not. But i can hear a fan in my computer making loud noices that it never did before. This is the first time i installed anything into any computer. Can someone tell me if thats normal or if i should really figure out how to get the heatsink it came with in there.

What motherboard or computer do you have? What fan is making the noise?

The heatsink wouldn't fit in your motherboard? You didn't try running the system without a heatsink on the CPU, did you?
