i have put a pc together
motherboard x58
intel i7 950

when i turn the pc on

the dram light flashes and continues to flash, and the system keeps rebooting itself, as soon as i take the memory out the light stays on continuously and the system doesnt not reboot.

any ideas the memory is in the correct slots and i have tried one stick by one stick
 
Did you try the other channel of memory banks? Generally there are 2 colors for the memory slots. Try both, only one stick at a time.
 
there is a1,b1,c1 and a2,b2, c2

i tried each memory stick in a1, and the triple combination a1,b1,c1.

i dont think it would work if i tried a2, b2, c2 would it?
 
Put one stick in only. Take out the battery on the motherboard for a minute or so.

Hold down the power button with the battery out and the computer unplugged.

Replace battery and with 1 stick of ram only, restart.

Post results.

ok i done this im still getting no display and light still flashing
