Help!

Ok so recentley i built a new computer for my self, assembley was easy but then trouble started. The bios wouldnt let me boot at all but i fixed it by using quickflash. So then i put in xp pro and it began to format my drive and that worked, but when it was over it began copying files and just stopped for no apparent reason and didnt do anything. I did it again and again and i9t still went to this point is there any one here that can help me?

During the install, it (the installer) will tell you roughly what it's doing at any given moment ... what's the last thing it gets to before it craps out?
