i just got my new PC from fed ex a couple of hours ago, this is my first time buidling a PC and im a having a big problem with the motherboard....The backplate is higher than the motherboard! I've beeen sitting there for hours looking for tools that they would have given me to solve this problem but there isnt one please help!

Ok first of all calm down. You don't want to go overboard and screw something up with your new parts. OK now I don't really understand what the problem is your trying to say, but if you could describe it with more detail I might be able to help you fix it.

thanks for replying to me, but i searched these forums and found the answer, i used these golden screws that came with the case to raise my motherboard to the proper height

now i have another problem, i am trying to install my front fan but none of my screws can fit in the holes...im going to google it right now

Either try different screws or use electrical tape (I know it sound's stupid, but it works).
