Well I just installed my new Ultra x2 PSU and it does start up but the first screen sais, "System fan failed". Can't figure out how to get it to pass. please help me!
 
Well i got into my BIOS and the CPU fan is fan, but the system fan it sais N/A. I think the system fan is the PSU fan?
 
Is it a 3 pin or 4 pin? Which cable is it on? I'm having a tough time finding it. But thank you so much I would have bnever figured it out.
 
It'll be a tiny 3-pin. If you have an old mobo, you'll need to buy a 3-pin to 4-pin adaptor.

EDIT: Just looked at a pic of the wires that come with that PSU, and it comes with an adaptor. The wire you're looking for is the cable composed of 2 wires.
 
And it is a cable that you have to plug into the modular ports correct? not just a cable coming out of the PSU?
 
I believe you are talking about the cable that goes from a 4 pin (only 2 prongs in it) to three 3 pins (which only have 2 prongs inside them)...I don't understand how to use them
