I recently went to a website that re-directed me to Grokster.com (I was not performing or intending to do illegal activities) it gave me a notice that said:



The United States Supreme Court unanimously confirmed
that using this service to trade copyrighted material is illegal.
Copying copyrighted motion picture and music files
using unauthorized peer-to-peer services is illegal and is
prosecuted by copyright owners.

There are legal services for downloading music and movies.
This service is not one of them.

YOUR IP ADDRESS IS {MY IP HERE} AND HAS BEEN LOGGED.
Don't think you can't get caught. You are not anonymous.

What does this mean? Does it mean I have been recorded as some sort of criminal? What should I do?

Well, seems like Grokster just got shutdown. You shouldn't worry too much about it.

i wouldnt worry to much about it its not like they have your MAC address from your hard drive its just ip address and that can be changed with ease.
