I would not buy it, ECS (trouble) plus a VIA chipset

ECS is not a good brand. They typically have cheap products with a rather high failure rate. Not everything they have is bad, but they certainly are not the quality of say Asus...

As for the comment on Via, realize Via was the top-dog around the SocketA era. Though I would take a nVidia or ATI over Via, they are not that bad.

The good old socket As, kinda miss them, life was less complicated . But at one time VIA was the king of socket A until nvidia. SIS and ALI fought it out for third place
