Hey All

I wonder if you could help me. Am wanting to re format my PC as it keeps just randomly switching itself off and rebooting (unless anyone knows what that could be?) so I need to backup all my stuff, mainly pics. Is there an easy way to do this other than memory sticks and CD's? Didnt know if there was a site or something i could upload to?

Any help, much appreciated.

Either DVD's, or a second hard drive would work just fine.

How often does your computer shut itself off/reboot? Could be a mobo problem.
 
well sometimes i switch it on and within seconds it switches itself off and sometimes its on for a bit before switching off but guaranteed no matter what everytime it will switch off at some point - where could i look?
 
Likely the power supply, listen for it making a slight buzzing noise.

Also, just to make it easier in future make your topic title more descriptive :)
 
Easiest thing to try first is to re-seat all your cards, memory etc, heat sometimes lift the cards over time. Also any connections, disconnect and reconnect them.

While the side is off the computer make sure all the fans are working.
