Helped needed conducting a forensic audit

Hello guys, newbie here.

In short I need help conducting a forensic audit on our home PC.

I've worked in IT but only in 1st line support so while I'm IT literate, this is something thats beyond my knowledge. Without boring you too much a few people use the PC and someone has accessed some dating websites and deleted the history, however the cookies are still there so they clearly are (trying to) cover their tracks.

My sister and her husband use the computer, and both me and my mother suspect its the husband as he has access during the day.

Sorry for the melodrama behind it, but I'm wanting to know how, if its possible to conduct an audit on the PC to detect when the sites were accessed and if possible the log on names etc. I dont want to go down the route of a keylogger, rather just find out what has gone on before and nip it in the bud.

Appreciate any info you guys can suggest.

Thanks in advance

Sorry that's not something you can do yourself. To many variables and the like. You need to take it to a trusted local non-big box repair shop. Or maybe you should go visit a divorce lawyer.
