Hi guys can anyone pleaseehelp mee im looking for a laptop and cant figure out the diffrence between all the core i7 s that are out there can anyone give me a quick guide about the differnces between the genarations and what they mean and also the numbers like 6600 and 6700 and 7600 there are so many types and this is really connfusing also there are leeters at the end for example 6600u or somthing like that what does that mean (there are a few tupes of letters)
Pleaseeeeee helppp im breaking my head with this for days alreadyyy

Alright, here's a quick guide.
iZ-XYYY

Z: Model number, in your case i7
X: Generation
Y: Specific model - higher=better

The letter on the end indicates lots. Here are the basics:
K: Overclock model
U: Laptop model
X: Extreme
