The Z68 shows poorer performance in most gaming situations and is significantly more expensive.

Show me how that is so. So me a benchmark that shows the Z68 is slower then the P67 with the same setup. Then show me comparable quality/phase set up/feature boards and the Z68 is as you say is (significantly) more expensive.

My builder just called me and said he couldn't get the P67 board anyways so now I'm getting a Asus p8z68 -V LE.

I feel better about it somehow and it was only $10 extra.

Slower on every benchmark. Asrock P67 vs AsrockZ68.

Plus they're about $20 more expensive for no discernible performance increase, which is significant.

Very nice. How much did it cost you to build that rig?

Well it cost me a good bit but it was only $30 more than purchasing it all off newegg.ca

I didn't mind paying the extra for someone else to build it and look after a 3 year parts and labor warranty for me :good:

Total with tax and everything was $1,700

The most bogus thing you have said.

1. There is no gaming benchmark in that review. Why, because you cant find one in gaming that will back up your statement.

2. In the review the benchmarks are so equal that you could probably run them again and it would turn out the other way. Really no difference.

3. In the review they compare the ASRock Fatal1ty P67 PROFESSIONAL to the ASRock Z68 PRO3.

The P67 board is 230 bucks
The Z68 board is 105 bucks

The Z68 is 125 bucks cheaper and equals the P67 board. Everything you said is B/S.

3 or 4 of 2700 posts.....hmmmm. That means you beat us to the punch .15% of the time.

well it's actually .1% as in both 3 and 4 out of 2700 equal (rounded to thousandth) .001, 3 is .00111 and 4 is .00148. and for the get told stuff, when you're surrounded by idiots that say stuff like that it rubs off after a while, i do agree that it is a retarted thing but it can be funny if said at the right time in a conversation face to face, not often but by the right person at the right time my friends know how to make anything funny really (mainly through, you guest it, stupidity).

I was nice and used 4. And I did round. .00148 rounded is .0015 or .15%. There is no rule saying you have to round to the thousandth. I like to be accurate.

And honestly wow.... We tell you that over 99% of what you post is useless information and you try to correct my math that defines that reasoning?????

And the rest of what you said was just complete nonsense. I'm not even going to worry about that.

no, .15 is 15%, .001 is 10% of 1%, aka, .1%, that's the first part, the second was responding to strangle calling me or my comment tack saying get told to bigfella

...this one went off the rails wow. i dont see a reason not to go with a z68 chipset due to featuresets the p67 lacks that the z68 has...seems silly to me to suggest a p67 at this point in the game.
