Well it pretty much depends on you. If you really want the battery life, I'd get the HP. I know the Acer's battery life isn't as good. That HP is an excellent choice for portability, light, doesnt get hot either. The Fujitsu is probably the nicest of the bunch with a better GPU and specs, but probably not the best on battery too.

Erm well you see. Im going on a coach trip to france in the summer and want it for that, and also im coaching from dundee to london next month. I would like 64bit for vista but i suppose it dosnt matter. Is vista a 64 bit os?

Right i went for the hp. Its light, thin and it has excelent battery life. I ordered 2x 512mb DDR 333MHz at the same time to replace the 256. Did i order the right stuff?

It will be coming in 64 and 32 bit. As for 64 bit compatibility, that won't be widely supported for quite some time. So having a 32bit system should be fine. ;)

right ok thanks! Did i order the right ram?
Are they going to install it for you? If it already comes with a 256mb stick, I'd get an additional to equal 512mb. You don't have to buy a 2x256mb sticks because you'll have to remove the existing to insert the 2 sticks you bought (only two slots on this notebook). I'd get a 512mb stick to equal 768mb total. As for the right speed, the US versions come in various speeds, sometimes 266 and 333- both will work, but just not together. It would be safe to wait to get it and check the label before buying new RAM for it.
