quick question

i have a pc at home with xp which we are happy with and is fine.

we are purchasing a laptop for the business.(when i say we my wife and i) it will only be for power point presentations with clients and word, and hooked up to the net for email. we looked at some today and are all windows vista pre installed. none have xp. ok no big dramas with that however i have office 2003 at home, if i install this on the laptop will it be compatible with vista or will i have to install drivers from Microsoft and do they have drivers and updates for that available software, as i have been told to stay away from vista.

cheers for your help guys!.Really Appreciate it!

I see no resaon why it wouldent work, microsoft does seem to TRY to make it's OS's backwards compatable. But, then again, most of my favorate 9X programs dont run to smoothly on XP...
