Hey i need help please

hey im ben from aus,

in about one month i will be attempting to build my own gaming pc with my only drawback being i dont know a whole lot about computer hardware and i have a budget of around $3000-$3500 (australian)..
i will write a list of the components i have chosen and if you could please give me any advice on any changes i may need to make or just some comments it would be very much appreciated

graphic card: gigabyte 8800GTX
mother board: i need help here! whats a decent one?
memory: Kingston 1GB DDR2 667MHz ( i will purchase 2 )
sound card: Creative SoundBlaster Audigy4
CPU: Pentium Core 2 Duo E6600
hard drive: 500GB 7200RPM SATA WD
Case: i have no idea which case i want
power supply: need help here too i dont have a clue wat i will need

you'll need a socket 775 motherboard, asus is pretty good, also you'll need one that supports pci express. Power supplies are hit or miss, i'd get at least 450 watt if not higher with that build. As for cases, get one that looks cool, really as long as it's sturdy and has plenty of fan ports it doesn't matter much other than that. All of these things can be found on newegg.com. Pay attention to customer ratings, they help me alot. Make sure the power supply you buy is rated 5 eggs.

how much is that motherboard u suggested?? i couldnt find it on newegg
 
it's just a brand of motherboard, you should be able to find several different models of ASUS boards on newegg.com
