i just need to know if my new rig is ok to play like all games at max, and if there is any way i could maximize its efficiency

my rig:

Amd 64 x2 4200+
S-ATA 250 GB HD
ATI X800XT (PCI-E)
1.5 GB RAM ( is it worth it to get another 512? )
Acer AL722 LCD Display.

I would go with the ati either way.

upgrade your gpu first then your ram if u have any money left, anything over 2gb u wont see much of a difference.
