hey everyone i just wanted to know your opinion on what dvd burning software to use to burn files such as avi, mpeg, etc. on a dvd with good quality and good audio and no flaws
thanks
Burning dvds no matter which one you use can be a little touchy at times. That's mainly due to the resources drawn at that time over what is seen when simply burning data to a cd-r. The more popular software remains as Nero while others like NeoDVD and Cyberlink's PowerDirector part of the PowerDVD software package is another one. Roxio's Easy Media Creator has a pronounce tendency to want to be removed from the startup list due to driver hangs! I run that only for data dvds here.
I've tried a bunch of different programs and I found that Nero is one of the better ones out there.
To make a DVD from an AVI file is dirt simple and the quality is excellent. Other programs I used just seemed to complicate things and the quality was never as good.
I generally use NeoDVD here due to being able to change settings for longer or shorter videos being burned to disk. This also is great for video cd as well as dvd projects. Most programs are limited to one setting where you can't go over a certain amount of time. Others allow lowere quality settings for over three hours seen with one file.
