HHD Compatible?

Ok, I've never seen these SATA cables/drives in real life before, and to be totally honest I've only ever used PATA (IDE Interface) HDD's. My question is, and don't laugh, is this HDD, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822140168 compatible with this motherboard, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136163 ?

I know that I should know this, but I'm such a dumbo with this SATA stuff lol... Anyway, I'm asking becuase I don't see anything on the motherboard details talking about Serial ATA150, only Serial ATA133 and becuase I don't know much about SATA I'm not sure... Anyway, if someone could reply ASAP, many thanks,

Rambo :)

Don't worry, I've found it it is compatible... I think.... If someone could check in their own time just so I know I'm right.... Thanks! :)

ok heres the deal: the motherboard has SATAII... which transfers data at 3gb per second
the hard drive is SATAI (SATA150) which transfers data at 150mb per second.
however, they ARE compatible, you CAN plug sata150mbps hard drives into sata3gbps ports on a motherboard.
if the motherboard were sata150, and the hard drive were sataII then id be worried, because then no matter what you can never go above 150mbps.

Perhaps it would just degrade the HDD down to operate at 150Mbps?
