Hi i had a question about fixing lags

I built my computer yesterday and just started using it today. I have noticed that once in a while the computer would freeze about 6 seconds and my computer would make a "beep" noise. then it would work well again. That is my problem 1.

My second problem is that the computer lags when i change size of the viewing. for example, if i was watching a facebook video, from full screen to regular. it would have about 15 seconds of lag time.

The computer specs are great. Spent good amount of money on it.

Is my set up wrong? what can i do to fix this? Please help.

can u explain the beep sound? as in how many times, how long ( less then a second 1 sec or longer?

the beep is like a second ish. it beeps near the end of the lag.

by the way for the second case, it also happens while i exit games. or go to desktop while minimizing the game. :l....

Is the beep coming from your speakers or inside the computer itself?
