Hi I think everyone should have a copy of this!

Aaah yes, this little util. I've used it before. It's damned near the equivilent of a "quick-load" button that we so adore in games. It's saved me upon several occasions from having to format and redo everything. I highly recommend this util to anybody and everybody. It's easy enough to use, and it's life-saving.
 
Robin the question should be what does it not do? If you are in trouble this can help.... Yes if you use it wrong you will kill your computer... And probably be arrested for computercide... Read about it at the site given....

I didn't know such a bunch of utilities existed. Very nice.
Downloaded .. etc. etc. now investigating what each does.
So far .. so "that's cool".

But yes, I agree, if it doesn't make sense, don't run it.

I just *knew* there was a really good reason for joining this forum ... and here it is....

It has a bunch of tests for everything from cpu to mobo to hard drive to video card, and everything else. It is nice to have, it's how I discovered that my hard drive was failing.
 
thanks for the link byteman, cos the earlier link, just allowed options for downloading the software, it never explained what the software is all about
 
Thanks guys, i downloaded earlier and about 20 minutes later a mate rang up saying did i have a boot disk that he can borrow to format his PC. Once again computerforum.com and the help of it's lovely users prevailed.
