My question is, why do you want it? It's slow. And for the same price you could get that ram that holdenssx picked.

And no I would not run that ram. The slowest I would use is the DDR2 667 ram. And that is in accordance with gigabytes website.

Will it work? It might, but do you want to take the chance. Some boards will except slower ram, some won't. And you might have to go into the bios and change settings to get it to work.

Chill out, I'm sure it will work, but if your only getting 1GB, then get a 2x512MB set, not 1x1GB. You'd be alot better off getting the DDR2 800 2x1GB that I posted, but if you don't have enough money then get this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145568

Sorry to hear that. I think if it's not to late, you should cancel the order and get the different ram. Or return it when you get it. Newegg is good about returns.

It will probably work, it's just not the best choice.

I suggested a mobo with 800 fsb and pc2 DDR2 800 ram, i clearly did not offer any 533 ram cuz is obviously slow and plus the price tag in most of the cases isn't lower than the g.skill ram i suggested
