Hi, is there anybody know how to disable my cdrom autorun?

You can disable Autorun through the Registry

Go to Start-> Run and type in "regedit"

Then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->Current Control Set->Services->CDROM and the look for the Autorun value and double click on it

Then change the value from to 1 to 0
Restart your computer and thats it your done!
 
Note that CDs containing an auto run file will auto play even if you changed the registry settings as Hellbreather said, so don't worry about this.

Auto Playing CDs can't be disabled cause the file is on the CD and it executes some commands which you can't stop.
 
yea thats what the program i suggested does, it changes the reg value, but a bit more safely for noobs. and it will disbale ALL autoruns, otherise you couldjust right click the cd drive and sisbale it from there
 
The fact about that one is that if he forgets to push shift it will autorun. I suggest permanately disable it using one of our methods

Beings as this has been answered already I'll just mention my fav :P. Hellbreathers suggestion to disable it via the registry is the way I do it and if your a noob then you'll get to learn something new :P. I does disable cd's with "autorun" files so that is not a concern and I don't even know where that came from :S.

All suggestions where excellent and don't really need to be debated now do they? :P.
