hibernation tab missing from power options???

My young brother PC is missing hibernation feature of win XP pro. I install win Pro XP on his desktop PC. I have updated all drivers, service packs. windows runs fine but hibernation isn't there. I checked the power option for hibernation tab but it is absent. His PC originally had window XP Home edition.

Does anyone know the cause of missing hibernation feature?
 
Windows Xp has the 3 options at first STAND BY TURN OFF RESTART
press down the shift key while on that window and standby will turn into Hibernate
