hidden files?

I recently copied some photos/documents to a CD-ROM but now, when accessing the disk on DVD/ROM drive, it shows nothing is there. Properties shows that there is about 1.5 GB of space left on a 4 GB disk. This makes me think the photos/documents did actually get copied. But I cannot select any of them since they are not showing in contents or as icons.

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? And if so, did the data ever get retrieved?.

    Thanks, Thomas

Access the cd and choose to view hidden files.

Thanks. I did that but it only showed this: Files Ready to be Written to Disk (1). Followed by an icon that says "Desktop".

I can't tell if those files I copied (or thought I had copied) onto the disk are still there or not.

    Thanks anyway.

You need to write them to the disk then. If all you did was copy and paste and then yeah you still have to choose to write them to the disk.
