High-end Laptop for multi-gaming? / Mac?

whats a high-end/top laptop/brand for mostly everything? Gaming to be more precise as well as surfing, and multi tasking (internet + music + gaming same time)

I herd sony vaio was good, hp pavilion hdx, and dell xps as well, and rockdirect - rock extreme? never herd of it, but it seems there good too.

I was planning to buy a desktop or a laptop and I came across the Dell XPS M2010 which is like a laptop/pc. Now is it upgradable like a laptop where you can only upgrade a few things, or is it like a pc where you can upgrade anything? I'm assuming it's slightly upgradable since there seems to be not that much room. So is it worth it?


Secondly, why do people say that you can't play games on mac?
Is this true?

I run Crysis On medium with 40-50 FPS and i can turn some setting easily up to high. I run COd4 On Highest setting ( besept resolution and anti analising ) Wow it could run with it hands tied behind it's back. Can run tf2 with higest resolution and max graphics besides anti anilsing with 30-50 fps.
 
if you had to pick between that or a desktop, which would you pick? (assuming you don't have either of them)
 
I'd much rather have a desktop if your wanting to play alot of games. However, for a college student/university (whatever people call it in europe) I'd go with a laptop, the portability and all that can't be matched. Besides, youre not supposed to be playing many video games in college anyways, you're supposed to be studying.
