High-end Radeon HD graphics card: Sapphire vs XFX vs MSI vs ASUS vs Gigabyte vs VisionTek?

For the exact same graphics chip:
What is the difference?
Is one brand better than another?
What should I get and why?

They all look the same to me except for aesthetic appearance and brand name.

It all depends on what brand looks coolest to you. The heatsink and their warranty policies are the only thing that changes between vendors.

I'd cross ASUS off the list, as their warranties take forever. Otherwise all the other brands are great to go with.

There's nothing wrong with asus.
They got nice support btw...

some of them are overclocked and some are a little cheaper, really depends on what you want to spend, tell us the budget and we can tell you the best card for your money

Id vote ASUS due to build quality and heatsinks. I havent had much issue with any of my cards except a fan failing...and the card still ran with the fan not spinning :P (9600GT with galictator heatsink)

Gigabyte gets my vote for the Customer support and nice aftermarket coolers they do on some of their cards.

XFX & MSI,with past experiences with their Customer support...not very good,Their cards are not too bad bad though.

i've run both gigabyte and visiontek- both ok and both seem to have good
cooling systems-i have a lot of patience and wait for sales so i buy the top end ones at decent prices.i've noticed that amd and visiontek site only have manuals for up to mdl 6900 only, nothing for hd7000 series.
