High Ping.. So high I get kicked...

Yeah... Windstream again. This time it's Ping... I get 203/4 ping when playing BF2.. and get kicked.. and my brother having wireless doesn't help either...

Did messing with the DMZ/Port forwarding make my ping go higher??
 
If he's not downloading, then make sure the server you're joining is close by, and not ont he other side of the country or even the world.

BF2 server are all regular.. Noob's Field 2, Hardare.Schotte, ect, and before, I got 67/66 ping with my bro + me playing together, diff computer, now I don't get it.. everything's the way it is...
 
Hm that's wierd, I usually get like 20-60 ping in US servers, and upwards of 100 ping in European servers. Maybe it's your computer lagging? I don't know. Sometimes bf2 has ping spikes..

oh and while we're on the subject, what's your bf2 username, I play bf2 too :D.
 
Mine ain't. Regular black box. Flat like an retangle. :( The one with the probs. Well now I get 200-170 ping... still though. Is it because I messed with something? Should I reset the modem + router? Port Forwarding and DMZ doesn't work anyways...
