Just did a blend test for 5 minutes again. Temps were in their mid 50's.
I guess the paste just needed time to sink in. Or perhaps the house temperature was high yesterday.
Oh well, just hope the temps stays that way. 55 Celsuis is quite decent right ?
The ivy's sure do cook pretty well...
For comparison.. my 3770K at 4.6 and 1.2V still hits 75-80 at 100%
No issues though and machine is rippin fast..
I dont have experience with your ivy but sure seems on the high side for stock .. I wonder if it is a paste issue, not seated quite right, or just needs more time after application of paste/.

No, No. 50's were the load temps.
I was worried because temps were hitting the 70s after putting the build together, but the temps gradually lowered down to normal. I guess the past just needed time to set in.
