You have alot of processes running on your pc click on start> run> type in msconfig and got to the startup tab and shut down all processes that you do not need to run when you start your computer and you will notice a huge increase in speed!

There are a bunch of processes and not all seem self explanatory. How do I know what ones I dont need at startup ?
 
Start> Run> msconfig> select the services tab. Then check the little box that says hide all microsoft services, now you will be able to see whats running on your computer beside what needs to run. You dont want to disable your antivirus or firewall or anything but stuff like windows media player and ipod stuff for example dont need to run when you start your computer! In the start up tab look for things like c:\program files\Quick... that is quicktime player and it dont need to run...just cross check and you can make out alot of the stuff like NAV stands for norton antivirus ect ect...if you are not sure about something google it.

Ok I did that. WHen the computer restarted I got an error message saying that it could not find .... . It looked like Koren or Chinese. This was one of the things that I unchecked the first time around. I assumed that it was the Asian characters recognition that I downloaded previously. It says that "it is specified in the registry. Make sure the file exist on the computer or remove it from the registry"

I ran a search for the file based on the one character I could type on my keypad but could not find it. How do I delete it from the registry or find ?

Open up ccleaner and on the left there will be a button that says issues, scan your pc for issues and fix all. That should fix it if it dont let me know!
