Nothing really wrong in your log. What issues are you having? Have you ran Malwarebytes Antimalware?

It seems like a lot of my ram is being sucked. ~45% idle state. I just switched from Xp to vista so that may be why...

I use ccleaner and malwarbytes regularly.

Try stopping any unwanted programs from running at bootup by using the "msconfig" utility. How much ram do you have installed in your system?

4 gig ram.

Im not sure what I can disable and what programs I can delete/disable (HP has a lot of bloatware but I didnt know what to get rid of)

dwm.exe and firefox.

Firefox said ff.exe *32.. does that mean its a 32bit program? I have 64 bit IE.. would I be better off running that since I have 64bit vista? or does it not effect that?

How much memory are they using. Dwm.exe will take up a bit depending on the settings you have. As far as firefox goes, yes that means that its the 32bit version and you running vista 64bit. How much is firefox using? If the computer is idle and you don't have any windows open then firefox shouldn't be running anyway.

FF is using 45K. Not bad. IE uses about 90K lol.

With all unnecessary programs closed in idle state im at 35 ram usage. Is that normal? Need my comp specs?

Thats only 45mb and 90mb which is normal. So either you have too many processes running or that Dwm.exe file is using a lot more.

I only have 13 start up programs.

Can I disable java?

There are a ton enabled under the service tab in msconfig but Im not sure what I can disable.
