Download seatools for windows and do a diagnostic on it.

As far as the net framework software goes, you really don't need it unless you run software that requires it. Go to windows update and deselect those 2 updates and they shouldn't bother you anymore.

John, I did 2 scans with the seatools, the slow DST and the fast DST on my Hard Drv's both scans gave a Pass for both the HD's.

Sounds like you might have to take it in to get it looked at. Not sure what it could be without looking at it myself.

John, my M/C's ok it boots up in seconds it's just my browser IE8 that's still very slow to launch, is there anyway I can get rid of these pesky hidden toolbars? it must be these that are taking forever to load.

Please post an uninstall list using hijackthis. Open hijackthis, click on open misc tools section, click on open uninstall manager, click on save, save the file and copy and paste it back here.

There are no toolbars loading in your hijackthis log so we'll see whats installed on your system that could be slowing it down.

If you last installed windows 18 months ago, it may be time for a fresh install again.

I don't see anything specific that could be causing the issue. However, you may want to try uninstalling the advanced systemcare 3 program to see if that speeds up loading your browser. If it don't then you'll most likely have to reinstall windows since its been a while since a fresh install has been done.
