What are these 4 nameless items in my hijack this log? I did a search and came up with nothing and I tried fixing them and no luck even in safe mode and my computer is starting to act funny last couple of days...any ideas? I did a scan for viruses and spyware with no luck but I cannot scan on symantec online virus scanner it will display the scan page for a second and then it goes to a page that says I have to install active x controls and I already installed them, I have seen a virus that would not alow you to scan with norton before but forgot what its called...any and all help would be great!

These are all harmless. The first one is from pcpitstop, the next 2 from symantec, and the last one is from trend-micro. It is strange that they aren't named and can't be fixed. Better post the whole log to see if there's anything else going on.

This is my whole log and I dont see anything suspicious but my computer is acting weird like things are taking along time to open up and I am getting error messages when I reboot but I cant tell what they say it will pop up right before pc shuts off...dunno might be time to reinstall windows...LOL!

Can't see anything in the log. Give Ewido a try, it might pick something up. Update it, run it in safemode (make sure you can see hidden files). As you can't read the error messages its difficult to know what to try.

well ewido found a worm and a trojan on my pc and i had it fix both of them and my computer is running smooth but now I am wondering because ewido is a trial deal after it expires or if i delete ewido will it reinstall the worm and trojan back on my pc?

No, you can delete Ewido, the trojan and worm are gone. They would only come back if they are in a restore point you saved. If you have system restore, turn it off and reboot, then turn it back on.

Alright thank you for the help...by the way whats up with ewido? I have never heard of it before and I am just dumbfounded that it caught the trojan and worm that avast, xoftspy, spysweeper, spybot and ad-aware all missed, whats up with that?

None of these programs is perfect, some will pick up one thing which another misses. Ewido has a large database of threats (over 155,000) and does seem to find things other programs miss, but a combination of all anti-malware programs is best.
