It's gotten very sluggish/slow as of late and I've noticed some questionable processes running. ALso weirdly, Firefox has become the only web browser that lets me get online... other browsers and programs checking for updates seem to fail. Any help would be greatly appreciated:

First thing, you have an older version of hijackthis installed please uninstal the version you have first and then follow this procedure as you are infected pretty bad.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

Please post a HijackThis log by doing the following:

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

In your next reply please post:
  • The Malwarebytes log
  • The ComboFix log
  • A fresh HiJackThis log
  • An update on how your computer is running

Been a long night, I don't have much time to test out the computer after doing all those scans. Seems to be running better right now, although my google search result links are still redirecting me to other weird/random sites. How do the logs look?

Thanks for the assistance, been a huge help.

How is the system running now? I also highly recommend downloading and running Ccleaner to clean out the old temp files and such. Get Ccleaner from here.

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

click the top right where it says download latest version. After the program is installed please put checkmarks next to the options set in the attached image and then click on run cleaner.

It seems to be running very well, thank you so much for the help. I've always been a big fan of Ccleaner, and run it frequently.
