I know i was supposed to restart then log but i wasnt sure if i was supposed to run it in safe mode or not when i scanned so i did both, heres the not safe mode scan. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

also if there is bad stuff i need to get rid of how do i go about doing it, obvioulsy ill scan again and then what do i do once i decide what has to go?
 
Hi Gimps.
Always do the Hijackthis scan in normal mode. Download Ewido. Update it, then boot into safemode and do a full scan. Fix all it finds (it will take a while). Reboot and post the new Hijackthis log.

dansilva, there are various HJT analysers, but they generally do an incomplete job of it, and don't give removal steps taylored to the specific infection. Many things will just come back after a reboot if a person JUST places a few checks in HJT and stops there. These analysers are fun to play with, but have little bearing on permanently removing malware.

Hi Gimps. Let's clean you up a bit before we deal with the complicated fix.
Run Hijackthis and hit "Scan Only". Put a check next to these lines.

Close all windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".

Find and delete these folders.

And these files (if they still exist).

Search for and delete these files (you might need to see hidden files and protected operating system files).

AUNPS2.DLL

If anything can't be deleted, try in safemode, let us know if you have problems.
Reboot and post a new Hijackthis log.

Edit: And have you now or in the past had popups to do with Aurora?
