I am not very good at reading these so dont take my word for it. It looks like this needs to go.

O9 - Extra button: WeatherBug - {AF6CABAB-61F9-4f12-A198-B7D41EF1CB52} - C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe (file missing) (HKCU)

But dont get rid of it until somebody that knows what they are doing says its ok to remove it. But that looks like the only thing to me.

Hey,
I'm Platinum, and I'll be helping you with your malware issues today!

I not only work to fix your computers, but I also want to educate you.
So, if you have any questions, even if they don't pertain to the current issue, please, just ask! I'd be more than happy to help you with your questions.

I am checking your log now: I will return as soon as I have researched all the items, prepared a fix, and had it checked by my supervisor.

While we are working together, please
  • Reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
  • If you are unsure of what to do, please stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
  • Be patient. HijackThis logs take some time to research, as does the preparation of a fix.
Please note the following:
  • I will be working on your Malware issues: This may or may not, solve other issues you may have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine is clear. (Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.)
  • The process may take considerable time, and many posts.

You have malware we need to fix, but first you need to apply Windows Critical Updates. Without critical updates, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Then download and install Service Pack 1a

Do NOT download and install SP2 yet, as this may in fact make things worse right now.
