Hijackthis Log- small problems

Hey, i've just been having annoying little problems, and i haven't used hijackthis in forever. If anyone can find out what could be interfering with my Team fortress 2 to not work at all, i would be grateful. I can load the game in safe mode and with all my services and startup programs no problem.

What should i do about all the "file missing" lines?

I don't see anything bad in the log. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea to download and run Malwarebytes and see if it finds anything. So nothing happens when you try to load the game in normal mode?
 
From a little poking around I realized that this is a major problem with that game. There are LOADS of people with nearly the same problem, but there doesn't seem to be a single definite "fix" for it.

A lot of people trying different things that work for awhile, but none of the "fixes" seem to be permanent. Everyone seems to thinks they have gotten TF2 to load, but then just end up right back on various game forums saying: "well that didnt work, SO WHAT DO I DO NOW!"

If it were me, and I saw that many problems with a game, I'd get rid of it. Just my thoughts.
 
Yeah, i've tried everything to do with steam, even reinstalled all my games and steam itself, and no luck. It's confusing me why it would work on safe mode, with all the extra stuff not running. Even works on other computers in my network, and on a friends PC when i let him log in.

What's really pissing me off is steam support, probably wont hear from them for a while..
 
Yeah, I've heard of people starting in windowed mode, changing screen resolutions, logging in-then-out-then-back into steam, uninstalling games, etc..... just to find a solution. This much trouble would have me pissed, especially at the lack of steam support.

If steam (ever) gets back to you with a solution that works, come back and let us know, eh? I would be very interested to hear their "definite" solution to this mess.
