Ok go to Cnet and download the free Ad-aware 6.0 and Spybot search & destroy. That should clean up any spyware. Go to start > run > type msconfig > click startup tab. Now go to this site http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php type a program from startup and it will tell you whether or not to uncheck it and get rid of it.

this is the system they use

"Y" - Normally leave to run at start-up

"N" - Not required - typically infrequently used tasks that can be started manually if necessary

"U" - User's choice - depends whether a user deems it necessary

"X" - Definitely not required - typically viruses, spyware, adware and "resource hogs"

"?" - Unknown

good luck ill get back with you on the processes have to find that link.
