You haven't done the steps in the sticky, never mind, try this.

Please run the Housecall online virus scan located at:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
Follow the prompts to scan your hard drive for viruses. Select the "Autoclean" option so that Housecall will remove any viruses from your system.
When the scan is finished, please restart your computer.

Then please run the Panda scan here:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
Choose to "Disinfect automatically," and follow the prompts. Delete any viruses found, and restart your computer.

Finally, please run the WindowSecurity trojan scan here:
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/
Remove any trojans found, and restart your computer.

Then please restart the computer, and post a new Hijackthis log.
 
I did the Trend Micro one but my security system won't let me run Panda. It said it contained a worm.

I'll do the Windows Security one now.

Also, how could you tell that I didn't do that scan?
 
That same thing happened to me when I tried to do the Panda scan.
Was Avast the program that blocked it?
 
I don't mean to get off-topic here but does anyone know why that Virus thing pops up with Avast? I don't want to run that scan unless I know it's 100% safe and won't install anything bad on my computer. I guess I could make a restore point before I run it and if it doesn't find anything, I'll just restore it to before I ran the scan.
 
Yeah I am using Avast.

I tried to run that Windows Security Trojan Scan but right after it started running, an iexplore tiny pop-up came up and said out of memory.
 
I just tried to run the Panda scan again myself. Avast blocked it. The Virus is Win32:CTX which from some websites say is a very dangerous virus.
 
Also, how could you tell that I didn't do that scan?

The Panda scan doesn't contain anything bad, it's for getting bad stuff off your machine. Lots of tools that are used to kill malware get flagged as bad by some programs, because they operate in a similar way. Hijackthis even gets flagged by Mcafee!!

mtino13, download Ewido. Install and update it, then boot into safemode (tap f8 on startup) and run a full scan. Remove all it finds.
Then boot back to normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log.
 
Can I uninstall Ewido now that I have deleted everything it found? Most of them were cookies but it found a few other things. They are in quarantine but I know they won't matter. Also, I still havn't run the Panda Scan yet.

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan only", place a check by the following entries.

Close all open windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:
Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

Then find and delete these files.

Then reboot and post a new Hijackthis log.
