Um, whats funny about that? A 128M and a 64M chip... Haha... I have computer that have less than a meg of ram.

Oh yeah, and the slowest PII was 233MHz.
Yeah but are you stuck with using that computer?

I have an IBM Aptiva P1 75mhz with 8 mb of ram with a (gasp!)quad speed cd rom, and Windows 3.11!! a couple of years ago we upgraded it to 16mb of ram and windows 98.

i had a compaq, cant remeber the cpu, but had 96mb of ram, 9gb hard drive, it was pretty good for the day, a lot better then my pII with a 400MB hdd, and 32mb of ram:)

ROFLMAO!!! I dont think anyone can feel your pain...unless you changed to a better computer by now.

That's nothin. Back in the 80's we had an Apple 2 when it was brand new. The processor speed was only 1 MHz. For the time, it was an amazing machine. LOL!!!

The apple II's had a processor speed of 16Mhz, not 1Mhz lol.

Dude, the first macintosh in 1984 wasn't but 8MHz. The Mac II's where 1MHz. Some of the later ones got a bit faster, but I think 4MHz tops.

You don't make any sense.

Whether the FX-60 is 'the best' CPU can be discussed, but they are seriously fast. :)

Without a doubt. When the FX-60's first came out, I read on PC world that someone had achieved a stable 3.0GHz with liquid cooling. I can only dream :D

I have some old apple pizza-box-like computer laying around in my closet somewhere. I think the proc is a 200MHz :D .

That P3 originally posted isn't that bad of a machine. Obviously you won't be gaming on it, but it would be perfect for personal serving.
