While were waiting for my cousin to get back to me on the other log, I have a new one for ya.
Besides the normal issuses, it's not installing SP2 for some reason. Not through Windows update or even if I download it from somewhere else.
Maybe it's just taking awhile, so I'll let that run over night and see what happens.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Glad it finally installed, it certainly can take a while. Your logfile is clean, although there are a few leftover files from an old Vundo infection which I suggest deleting.

Please set Windows to show hidden files:
  • From any folder, select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
  • Select the View Tab.
  • Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
  • Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
  • Click Yes to confirm.
  • Click OK.

Please delete the following files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cccdd.ini2
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cccdd.bak2
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cccdd.bak1

Please set Windows to hide hidden files again:
  • From any folder, select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
  • Select the View Tab.
  • Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Hide hidden files and folders.
  • Check the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
  • Click OK.

Additionally, Your Java Runtime Environment is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update:
Updating Java:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Software icon > Add or Remove Programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )
It should have next icon next to it:
    javaicon.gif

    Select it and click Remove.
  • Then Download and install the newest version from here:

Hey C,
Thanks for those final repairs.
I was however unable to find the three System32 files.

Here is the final log for good measure.

Once again, thanks for all the help.
Bob
